Discarded Images

These are the images that I decided not to place into either of my print products.

There are two reasons why I decided to discard this image and not place it into my final products. The first is the distance. Due to the shot being so wide, it is hard to distinguish what the main focus of the image is which is important in promoting the feature film. The second reason is that the quality of the image is not very good and the focus on the featured characters is blurred.

The reason that I have not included this image in my final product is the lack of difference between each characters position. As is evident in my final poster product I was looking for different levels and differences in the direction of the characters focus, but in this image they are all on the same level and looking generally in the same direction.

I decided to not place this image into either of my final products for two reasons. The first, like the previous image, is due to their being no differences in the levels of the character's positions. The second reason, is that the actions and expressions of the characters do not reflect the desired aims of the image. Although this is a comedy film that needs comedic representations within the products, which is evident in my final poster product, to make the product believable their still needs to be an element of seriouness which isn't at all represented in this image.
